Happy International Women’s Day: An Open Letter to All The Heroines at Tarjama

Today is International Women’s Day and we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the wonderful women at Tarjama.

On this day, we want to express how grateful we are to all the wonderful women who have supported Tarjama, each other, and their communities. To all the linguists, IT experts, AI engineers, project managers… we cannot thank you enough. It is through your efforts, your dedication, and your sacrifices that Tarjama is able to thrive.

Every day, amazing women practice their skills and expertise to help us provide top quality services to our customers. Thanks to their incredible talents and hard work, Tarjama can continue to advance and promote its innovative solutions and language technologies, including its proprietary Arabic Machine Translation engine.

We may know these women as our engineers, linguists, sales experts, receptionists, etc. but they are also mothers, daughters, friends, and partners and they shine in their professional and personal roles every day. Thank you for giving it your all in everything you do.

Tarjama is proud to have an overwhelmingly female workforce in over 20 countries, each contributing to their own economic growth and that of their families and communities. For this vision, we also have our CEO Nour Al Hassan to thank who recognized that many women with incredible talents are unable to work 9 to 5 at an office. “By providing flexible work conditions and the chance to work from home, Tarjama is investing in an untapped resource and at the same time allowing women to be fulfilled professionally.”

“All the milestones we have been able to achieve in the past few years, from our growing customer base to developing and selling our own Arabic Machine Translation engine, wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing women on our team. Today, on International Women’s Day, I want them to be proud of everything they have done because I’m incredibly proud of them.”

All of us at Tarjama echo these words and wish you all a happy, fulfilled and proud Women’s Day.
